I’m debating whether I want to dive into another season of Diablo 4 today, but Season of the Infernal Hordes brings a wonderful thing with it. Instead, 15 brand new unique items to hunt, and as such, tons of new builds.
While there are plenty of patch notes for this season, here are all the new Uniques that are rolling out today, and many of them sound pretty amazing. The list begins. Skipping the stats, just showing the powers to spice things up a bit:
ALL CLASSES
- Crown of Lucion – Poison: Whenever you use an ability with a resource cost, you win [5-15]%[x] damage increase and resource cost increased by 30%[+] for 4 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.
- Enduring Faith – Gloves: When you would take damage for at least 40% of your maximum health immediately, it is spread over the next 2 seconds and is reduced by [10-30]%[x].
- Shard of Verathiel – 1 Hand Sword: Basic Skills Agreement [50-200]%[x] damage increased but also cost 25 Primary Resource.
- Rakanoth’s Awakening – Boots: When you cast a Skill with a Cooldown, you explode, dealing X Fire damage.
- Talisman of Locran – Amulet: gain your abilities [0.10-0.40]%[+] Bonus critical strike chance per point of Primary Resource you have, up to [10-40]%[+]. Each point of Primary Resource above 100 gives 0.2%[x] Critical hit damage instead.
barbarian
- Unbroken Chain – Amulet: Casting Steel Grasp reduces Iron Malestrom’s cooldown by [3.3-10.0] seconds. . Enemies damaged by the Iron Maelstrom deal [10-30]% less damage for 6 seconds (Barbarian only.
- Third Blade – 1 Handed Sword: Your weapon mastery skills are now also core skills that have no cooldown but cost Fury, which is taken [50-70]% of normal damage. Their Fury costs are reduced by 5 for each additional charge the Skill would have had.
DRUID
- The Basilisk – Staff: When you first hit an enemy when a ground ability, freeze them for 3 seconds. An enemy’s whisper is also taken [4412-26472] Physical damage.
- Mjolnic Ryng: While Cataclysm is active, you gain unlimited Souls and deals [X] [40-100]% damage increase.
THE NECROMANCER
- Mortacrux – Dagger: When a Corpse is consumed, there is one [10-30]% chance to also create a Rotten Skeletal Simulacrum that seeks out enemies but cannot attack. When it dies, it explodes for 5,514 shadow damage. This effect is treated as a macabre ability.
- Trag’oul’s Path: The Bone Prison blocks a larger area and burns [10-30] Bone shards on enemies trapped inside. Increase your Max Essence by 2 for 10 seconds each time these bone shards hit an enemy. (Necromancer only
bouncer
- Umbracrux – Dagger: Your subjugation abilities create an attackable Shadow Totem for him [3-8] seconds. Any damage you take is replicated to surrounding enemies with 20% effectiveness. You can only have 1 Shade Totem active at a time. This damage counts as a trap ability.
- Shroud of Khandura: Casting Dark Shroud makes you immune for 2 seconds, but the dodge cooldown is increased by [9.0-3.0] seconds. Dodging while Dark Shroud is active leaves behind an explosion that deals [3,426-10,278] Shadow damage and attracts enemies. (Cheaters only)
ALWAYS
- Axial conductor: Chain Lightning alternates between orbiting you and searching up to 3 enemies. When it returns, it drains 6 Mana from you for each active Chain Lightning. After draining a total of 66 Mana, the bolt explodes for [1,887-7,548] Lightning damage. Chain Lightning expires if you don’t have enough Mana to drain (Wizard only).
- Vox Omnium – Unique Staff: Casting a core skill fires 2 instances of Fire Bolt, Frost Bolt, or Spark, matching the elements of your last 2 non-core skill cats. These shells are taken [30-90]%[x] increased damage.
Which of these will appear as meta? There are also new Aspects on top of this that will affect things, but I’ll collect those in a separate post. For now, these are the new items to hunt for. I wonder if they bring any new transmogs as well?
